Eagles squad for the opening round of the 2026 Cricket West Indies Four-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Guyana, the defending champions, will begin their title defence against the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Windward Islands Volcanoes from April 12\u201315 at the Sir Vivian Richards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stadium in Antigua. The team will be led by Tevin Imlach, with Matthew<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nandu serving as vice-captain, under the watchful eyes of Head Coach<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ryan Hercules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The squad reads: Tevin Imlach (Captain), Matthew Nandu (Vice Captain),<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Raymond Perez, Kevlon Anderson, Kemol<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Savory, Keemo Paul, Gudakesh Motie, Veerasammy Permaul, Richie<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Looknauth, Nial Smith, Isai Thorne and Zeynul Ramsammy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reserves: Shamar Joseph, Junior Sinclair, Sylus Tyndall, Jonathan Van<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lange, Thaddeus Lovell, Antony Adams, Mavendra Dindyal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shamar Joseph will join the squad from round 2 following his approved<\/p>\n\n\n\n
rest by CWI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 2026 tournament will be contested under a revamped format, with<\/p>\n\n\n\n
teams engaged in a series of bilateral encounters. Guyana will play three<\/p>\n\n\n\n
matches against the Windward Islands Volcanoes across venues in Antigua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the conclusion of the preliminary phase, the top three teams will<\/p>\n\n\n\n
advance to the playoffs, with the first-place team progressing directly to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
final, while the second and third-placed teams contest a semi-final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having secured three consecutive titles, the Guyana Harpy Eagles will be<\/p>\n\n\n\n
aiming to extend their dominance and capture a fourth successive<\/p>\n\n\n\n
championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
